1. Start with a clean, dry litter box 2. Fill box with pellets one inch deep

3. Remove solid waste as needed, taking care to remove minimal pellets

4. Occasionally stir the litter to help evaporation

5. Periodically remove any spots which become saturated or gummy

6. Occasionally add a cup full of fresh pellets to maintain the volume

7. Change litter when most of the product has broken down

8. Flush it in small amounts or mix it into your garden or compost
